Year 4
Last week, Year 4 visited Lymme Park to experience what it would be like to spend Christmas as a Tudor.
The children had time to try out traditional Tudor toys, learnt what would have been on the Christmas menu and did plenty of arts and crafts during their visit.
Mr Francis and Mrs Johal were very impressed with the children's behaviour throuhgout.
Year 6
The week before last, Year 6 experienced a taste of what it would have been like to be a child during World War II. On Evacuation Day, children came to school in costume where they were met by Mrs Knowles and Mrs Cotton, who had stepped back in time to become teachers from the 1940s.
The day was spent taking part in a variety of fun, WW2 themed activities in Tatton Park. These included learning about rationing, baking ginger biscuits, trying on gas masks and looking at other artifacts.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their day at Tatton and looked very much the part as evacuees.
