🟡🟢🔴🔵 BIG NEWS! 🟡🟢🔴🔵
For the first time, Kindergarten joins the Forest Houses!
Today we had a very important chat with our Kindergarten children about something that is happening this year….they are officially joining our school Houses!
At Forest we nurture the whole child, helping our children to grow into kind, confident, thoughtful, resilient and respectful young people who make a positive difference to those around them.
Throughout their time at Forest, children can earn house points not only for their learning and achievements but for showing what it means to be a ‘True Forester’
This might mean:
⭐️ Holding a door open for somebody
⭐️ Helping a friend
⭐️ Being a great team player
⭐️ Showing resilience when something is tricky
⭐️ Looking after our school
⭐️ Showing good manners
⭐️ Celebrating and encouraging others
Kindergarten already join in with the whole school celebration assembly and lower school assemblies and now they will also have the chance to attend our house meetings with the other children from across the whole school.
A true example of our forest family and we can’t wait to see Kindergarten representing their houses and discovering that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big difference.
