Year 6 and their Reception children joined together for their annual ‘Buddy’ trip to Chester Zoo.
It was a wet and windy day but that didn’t stop the fun, as the children explored and spotted so many animals from the moment they entered.
A firm favourite is always the bat encounter, where the children are given the opportunity to get close and personal with the bats as they fly high above their heads. It’s always a pleasure to see how the Year 6 look after their buddy, caring for the children throughout the day. The Reception children blossom as a result.
It is a day to remember and this year, all the teachers were impressed with the maturity displayed by the Year 6 pupils. All the children behaved impeccably and did Forest proud!
