As part of their ‘Growth’ topic, Nursery and Kindergarten had an exciting visit from a range of animals, courtesy of Zoo 2U.
It was a very interactive and stimulating experience for every child, as they met and could handle: a snake, tortoise, owl, tenrec (similar to a hedgehog), praying mantis and giant millipedes. They also learnt about how each animal grows, its food and its habitat.
The children have been so captivated by learning about animals and monitoring their growth, that they are creating 3D models and pictures of them for display.
