It is that time of the academic year again, when our oldest pupils move on to pastures new, with exciting challenges awaiting them at secondary school.
Whether the children have been with us since Nursery, or joined at a later stage, here at Forest, we like to mark the end of a huge stage in their lives in a variety of ways. On Tuesday 16th July, parents, grandparents, friends and siblings gathered in the hall for the Year 6 Leavers' Event. It was a wonderful assembly, which left many tearful as the children reflected on their memories of Forest Prep from Nursery to Year 6. Tomorrow, Year 6 will be delivering an assembly to Lower School.
Earlier in the week, the children had a fantastique time in their last ever French lesson with Madame Cotton as she brought in some French delicacies.
Today, the children are out enjoying their last Forest trip - a well-deserved outing to Inflatanation!
We wish all our Year 6 children luck in their new endeavours and look forward to hearing how they get on.
