Year 4’s Triumph: ‘Henry’s Break from Rome’ Assembly Wows Audience

Year 4 impressed both the school and their parents with their assembly, "Henry's Break from Rome." Their exceptional acting and spirited singing delighted everyone as they brought the story to life. A special mention to HH, who played the role of Henry VIII, for his impressive dedication in learning a huge amount of lines.

The assembly told the story of the history of the formation of the church and the many wives Henry VIII had, as he pursued his desire to have a son. Infused with Mr. Francis's touch of magic, the play seamlessly blended facts with humour, captivating the audience throughout. A notable highlight was a clever adaptation of the famous song "Summer Nights" from the film Grease, transformed into the catchy "Tudor Days."

The laughter and applause from the audience was an indicator that the assembly was huge success. Well done Year 4!
