To celebrate the end of the recent gruelling exam process, Year 6 enjoyed a fun- filled tea party to celebrate all they have achieved thus far.
In previous years, the school Honours were given out at Speech Night. This year, due to Lockdown, the children were presented with their roles by Mr Hyde, in school. It was a quiet but important ceremony which marked the start of the year in an official capacity. The children have been thrilled with their roles and were then treated to a party to celebrate.
The afternoon began with Mrs Knowles' favourite start to any occasion- food. Thank you to Mrs Mullins, Mrs Frankland and the Year 6 parents, for providing the entertainment. The children thoroughly enjoyed the popcorn and candy floss however, the chocolate fountain was a real treat.
A treasure hunt followed with super gift bags full of surprises at the end. The piñatas bashing was fun...until the newly appointed Head Boy, knocked it off in one! To end the afternoon, Mrs Mullins had arranged for a balloon drop. Chaos ensued but everyone went home with a balloon, full stomachs and most importantly, fond memories with their classmates.
