Pre-Prep-aring for September

Pre-Prep-aring for September

Pre-Prep have been busy preparing for their exciting new starts in September. Current Nursery will graduate through to Kindergarten and no longer be the smallest Foresters in school whereas those in Kindi will begin a more formal setting in Reception. Needless to say, they have been busy in and out of the classroom.

Sports Day
In addition to their 'Day of Sport', which was held at Timperley Sports Club, Pre-Prep also participated in their annual Sports Day. Held on our grounds, we were able to invite parents to come and watch their children in a variety of different sporting events. Despite relentless rain, the children had a wonderful time on their first Forest Sports Day, and we had some lovely feedback from parents.

Summer Performance: Baa! Moo! What will we do?
Based on the book by A.H. Benjamin, ‘Baa! Moo! What will we do?’ is a story about a new animal arriving at Buttercup Farm, which creates a lot of worry among the animals that they will lose their jobs! All the children participated beautifully in the delivery of the story, as well as performing some songs. The performance was videoed in school and shared with all Pre-Prep parents.
