Forest Prep presents ‘Porridge’

Forest Prep presents ‘Porridge’

The annual end of year show, hit the stage at Altrincham Little Theatre on 27th, 28th and 29th June as upper school performed ‘Porridge’. As ever, the show was a complete hit and finished with a very big round of applause from a ruptourous audience, who couldn’t resist singing along.

The show was professionally led by Year 6, with support from Years 3, 4 and 5, who were fabulous back-up singers. This was the penultimate performance for year 6 who are such a talented class, who simply shine on stage and were a joy all through the rehearsal process.

Thank you to Mrs Wellings, Music Director for producing a first class performance and to all Forest Staff for supporting the show and making it happen. It really is a big team effort!

Mrs Wellings said, “All the children have worked so hard — we have sung, danced and laughed our way through rehearsals and, I think, have put together a brilliant showcase of their talents.”

Mr Booth, Headmaster added, “As ever with our school production, I have been amazed at the enthusiasm, energy and talent of our children. Having been part of many productions, I can still say that it is one of my favourite events on the school calendar, and it is the phenomenal teamwork and bonding of ninety children that always stands out.”

We hope all parents, grandparents and friends who watched it, enjoyed it as much as us Foresters.
