This year, we could not be more proud of our Year 6 children and the outstanding exam results that they have achieved.
Over 86% of the children sat external examinations, with 95% of those passing for at least one grammar school and 84% passing more than one grammar school; giving parents and pupils a choice of where their future may lie.
Eighty percent of those who sat exams, passed State Grammar School Entrance Examinations: including Sale Grammar, Urmston and Stretford Grammar School, Loreto and St.Ambrose. This was alongside Altrincham Grammar School for Boys and Girls, which still remain the most popular destinations for our leavers.
In addition, a music and an academic scholarship were also offered to two of our well-deserving pupils.
These results are even more amazing considering a vital part of the preparation was throughout the first period of remote learning.
Enormous credit goes to the children and the staff for all their hard work and dedication.
