Each year, our Year 5 and 6 children embark upon an exciting week-long residential trip; alternating between Shropshire and France.
The unprecedented year we have endured has meant that our current Year 6 children have not been able to enjoy either residential trip. This however, did not stop Madame Cotton bringing France to Timperley, by arranging a two-day French experience for both year groups.
The children were tasked to see which group could make the tastiest Mayonnaise, with Mr Hyde judging! They tried the French delicacies of snails, frogs legs and a variety of cheeses and even made croque Monsieurs, papier-mâché hot air balloons and Eiffel Tower replicas out of marshmallows and spaghetti!
It was an extremely busy two days. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the experience such a success and special thanks to Madame Cotton for organising and orchestrating it all!
