Springing into the Spring Term

Springing into the Spring Term

We are thrilled with how seamlessly the children returned from the excitement of the winter break. With the passing of autumn term and as each year group has become fully immersed in their class-specific routines and expectations, our transition into spring term brings a fresh and energised feeling to the school. Historically, spring term is not only a busy one within school, but one in which we find the children come back and their attitude to school-life has a revitalised amount of zest. The progress the children make during this spring term is always a delight to see. Our Monster Phonics scheme continues to engage and excite the children and is embedded well into the daily timetables of children from Nursery to Year 2.

Our Foresters show huge resilience and dedication to their learning and are currently proving daily progress on an accelerated level- we could not be prouder of the many achievements they continue to astound us with, both inside and outside of school. Our Year 6 children have finally come to the end of the secondary school examination process and we are thrilled with their ‘can do’ attitude in tackling these head on.

As the days get lighter, longer and warmer, we are enjoying the buzz within school and watching our Foresters flourish on all fronts.

We are looking forward to seeing all the impending achievements in the coming half term.
