As you may have read in recent correspondence, or heard at Speech Night, it has been my privilege to have led the school for the past fourteen years. Therefore, in my final blog, I would like to thank you for a final time; all the outstanding colleagues, incredibly supportive parents and truly amazing children I have worked alongside during that time.
Mr Booth has been a Deputy of the very highest quality and it has been an absolute pleasure to have worked so closely with him in that context. I hope that I can reciprocate this as we swap roles from September. His unquestionable love for the school, unwavering energy and remarkable ability make him the absolute right person to lead the school into its exciting future. Thank you again and I shall leave the last word to Mr Booth……
Rick Hyde
Headmaster
On behalf of the staff team, I would like to thank Mr Hyde for his constant support, loyalty and leadership. Throughout his time as Headmaster, he has guided and supported us in our teaching of Foresters, past and present. On a personal note, it has been a pleasure to serve as his Deputy, a partnership we've thoroughly enjoyed.
I look forward to seeing you all in September, where all things #theforestway will remain, albeit in a more open, accessible and non-bubbled manner.
From the both of us, and our colleagues, we wish you all a very safe and happy summer.
Graeme Booth
Deputy Headmaster
