Parents and grandparents of our Nursery children were invited to a special afternoon to celebrate our all year round nursery and officially open the setting.
We were honoured to have the Mayor of Trafford, Dolores O’Sullivan, join us at the ceremony who officially opened the Nursery and cut the purple ribbon. Dolores spoke about the importance of education in the early years and wished all our youngest Foresters a great journey throughout their years in education.
Tea and homemade cakes beautifully baked by the Class PA Representative, Mrs Smith were served as our guests arrived. The real stars of the show, our Nursery children, were given a big round of applause as they joined their families proudly wearing personalised class T-shirts and presented with a Forest teddy bear, a special something for their memory box.
Like any good party there was a special cake which was cut by Bellevue Education Director, Gregg Davies.
We are super proud of our Nursery class 2023 who have been the first cohort to learn and flourish in our all year round setting. They are loved and admired by all the older Foresters for their cheeky little sparks.
Thanks to all the families and friends who joined us today and of course our Nursery children for being a fantastic bunch who continually add lots of cheer amongst our Forest family.
