First and foremost, I hope that in the present circumstances, everyone within and linked to our school community is well and taking care.
On behalf of us all, I would like to send sincere thanks and gratitude to those families with key workers in, who are working so hard to keep everyone safe throughout these unprecedented times. I extend this to the staff at the school, themselves key workers, who have been in school providing care each day for those children who need it.
This week, we are delighted with how the remote learning experience has begun and the interaction between teachers, children and pupils has been very positive. Many teachers are now uploading videos into the daily routine and after Easter we intend to bring in new interactive teaching methods to try and keep the learning as fresh and productive as possible.
As a school, we fully appreciate the support you are providing to us and to your children whilst many of you are working from home. This must, at times, prove very challenging. Please keep in touch with your class teacher and they will continue to help whenever possible. Our children have, as ever, been brilliant. They adapt so quickly to any situation and always give of their best.
I hope that we move on and out of this situation as quickly as possible but in the meantime, I hope that you all take care and look after each other.
