🤾♀️Super Showing at the ISA U9 Handball Tournament! 🤾♀️
What an exciting afternoon at the ISA U9 Handball Tournament!
Our U9 team rose to the challenge, playing a year above age-group and competing with confidence, determination, and real team spirit.
The energy on court, the commitment in every match, and the way the players supported one another was fantastic to see- TRUE FORESTERS!
A brilliant top 4 finish and we couldn’t be prouder of this super group of players!

Tudor Times!
Year 4 experienced ‘Tudor’ times with a trip to Ordsall Hall. The perfect way to consolidate their History topic.
Ordsall Hall was home to Sir John Radcliffe, over 750 years ago, when Queen Elizabeth l reigned.
The visit was split into two parts. Firstly, we visited the ‘poor’ side of the house, where we had a tour of the kitchen. Learning all about how the servants prepared the feasts; using a yoke to collect water, and cooking their meat with a spit over a fire.
Secondly, we visited the ‘rich’ side and learnt about the two jobs that Sir John Radcliffe had, sheriff and knight. We learnt lots of interesting facts such as how thieves were punished, the armour that Knights wore and how the Tudors dressed.
The trip finished with lots of smiles as we all learnt a Tudor dance.
Thank you to all the staff at Ordsall Hall for a fun and informative day. #theforestway #ordsallhall #tudorhistory
